Expected hidden liver disease in an anti-HCV seropositive area; an observation from an endemic area

Abstract


The liver disease is an important medical problem. There are several kinds of liver diseases and the
problem can be seen worldwide. The liver disease due to hepatitis virus infection becomes an important
public health globally. Chronic hepatitis virus infection is related to serious liver diseases including
hepatoma. In this short report, the authors estimate for the expected hidden liver disease in an anti HCV
seropositive case based on the available data from an endemic area in Thailand.
